After a successful first edition, the ALCHIMIA grant is officially back in 2026. Led by Prompt, in collaboration with E-AI, this unique initiative aims to support entrepreneurs, startups, and studios that place artificial intelligence at the heart of Quebec’s cultural and creative industries.
At the intersection of creation, technology, and innovation, ALCHIMIA has established itself as a springboard for projects that redefine how we create, produce, and distribute content in the cultural and creative industries in the age of AI. For this second edition, the ambition is clear: to reveal new talent, accelerate bold projects, and offer an exceptional showcase for those who are shaping the future of the cultural and creative industries.
A selective three-stage process
La bourse ALCHIMIA 2026 propose un parcours structuré, conçu pour mettre en lumière les projets les plus prometteurs :
First, a preliminary selection process will be used to analyze the applications submitted by candidates. At the end of this stage, 12 semi-finalists will be invited to take the stage at the E-AI event, in front of more than 1,000 people from the artistic, technological, and creative communities, as well as a jury of recognized experts.
Subsequently, five finalists will continue the adventure and will have the opportunity to pitch their project again at a dedicated event scheduled between May and June 2026. This is a unique opportunity to refine their proposal and gain visibility.
$100,000 to accelerate the most promising projects
A total of $100,000 in grants will be awarded to provide concrete support for the development of the selected projects. In addition to financial support, ALCHIMIA also offers opportunities for promotion at partner events, thereby contributing to the visibility of participating initiatives within Quebec’s creative and technological ecosystem.
