Technological Pillars and Strategic Sectors
Prompt supports the development and acceleration of foundational technologies at various stages of emergence: advanced AI, quantum computing, microelectronics, and optics/photonics. Prompt supports the development of innovation projects in strategic sectors, including defense, cyber resilience, manufacturing productivity, and telecommunications.
History
Founded in 2003 as a trust organization of the Ministry of Economy, Innovation, and Energy (MEIE), Prompt is a nonprofit organization and one of nine sectoral industrial research groups (RSRIs) mandated to develop and support innovation ecosystems and collaborative research within strategic sectors of Quebec’s economy.
