Today, Artificial Intelligence (AI) is having a tremendous impact, driving innovations to address global challenges and change how we live. In order to remain competitive and drive economic growth, we in Quebec must develop these technologies. Prompt’s mission, together with the other 8 Industrial Research Sectoral Groups (RSRI), is to establish and support a collaborative innovation ecosystem conducive to developing strategic economic sectors for the benefit of businesses, research centres and the Quebec population.

AI key figures 

Since 2019, PROMPT has helped finance 82 artificial intelligence innovations. This represents an investment by PROMPT of $25.7 million.

In 2019-2020, 73 companies collaborated with 22 public research partners to consolidate Quebec’s position as one of the world’s leading AI innovation centres.

Our PIIA program gives your artificial intelligence innovation project the best chance of being funded. PROMPT will help you package your application while facilitating the application steps and connections to increase your chances of success!

The PIIA program is divided into two categories, “ENVERGURE” and “SME”: Check which one matches your situation and determine if you and your project are eligible.

- PIIA « ENVERGURE » -

WHO’S IT FOR?

For projects with a minimum of two Québec companies.

Eligible projects are strategic/pivotal projects that demonstrate the potential for significant short-term strategic benefits.

- PIIA « SME » -

WHO’S IT FOR?

For SMEs with AI projects designed to produce goods and services or to carry out in-house research and development activities.
