Prompt and QV Studio join forces to power tomorrow’s quantum startups

Prompt, in partnership with QV Studio, is launching a new Funding Programs designed to support the start-up of technological projects in quantum technologies. This initiative, the only one of its kind in Quebec, is designed to support young research-based companies in the development of their first innovations, with funding of up to $50,000 per project. With an overall budget of $250,000, this program aims to strengthen the Quebec innovation chain by funding research conducted in public centers, universities and CCTTs.

The official announcement of this new program took place on November 12 at QV Studio’s offices in Sherbrooke, in the heart of the Quantum Innovation Zone, in the presence of the partners and representatives of Quebec’s quantum ecosystem. By focusing on collaboration between researchers, entrepreneurs and investors, Prompt and QV Studio aim to accelerate the creation of innovative companies and position Quebec as a key player in the global quantum economy.

This partnership is already accompanied by a first supported project, led by ZaviQ and the Université de Sherbrooke, involving the development of a new generation of ultrasensitive sensors. This initiative is a concrete illustration of the shared mission of Prompt and QV Studio: to transform scientific discoveries into real solutions with a strong economic and technological impact.
