Presentation
Prompt seeks businesses or non-profit organizations interested in developing innovative projects with significant potential for reducing GHG emissions, in collaboration with a university, an affiliated research center, a CEGEP, or a college-based technology transfer center (CCTT), in strategic economic sectors that will enable Quebec to move forward and achieve its GHG emission reduction targets more quickly.
Objectives
- Encourage the development of innovative technologies and practices that enable Quebec to make faster progress toward its GHG reduction goals;
- Promote the implementation of new technologies that would reduce GHG emissions;
- Engage companies in collaborative innovation projects aimed at discovering solutions to reduce GHG emissions;
- Support the development of intellectual property related to new technologies aimed at reducing GHG emissions;
- Promote the adoption of clean technologies by businesses
- Engage researchers from universities, community colleges, and businesses in collaborative innovation projects aimed at discovering solutions to reduce GHG emissions;
- Stimulate investment in innovation aimed at reducing GHG emissions.
Projects must demonstrate the potential to reduce GHG emissions by at least 100,000 metric tons of CO₂ equivalent in Quebec over the ten (10) years following the commercialization of the product, technology, or innovation;
