First edition of ALCHIMIA: an initiative dedicated to promoting AI in the cultural and creative industries!
On June 4, six start-ups from the cultural and creative industries took to the stage at La Piscine to unveil the progress of their projects, share what they had learned, and compete for grants of up to $40,000. These finalists were selected in February from among 12 candidates at the E-AI 2025 event, where innovative projects combining artificial intelligence and creativity were presented.
After several months of development and an inspiring final, three projects stood out for their excellence and potential. Discover the projects of the three finalists:
Fabli — $40,000 grant. Fabli is an interactive, screenless audio player designed for children aged 0 to 10. It uses motion sensors, lights, and sound to provide immersive experiences through stories and educational games.
Maket Technologies — $20,000 grant. Maket AI proposes the development of a generative artificial intelligence solution designed to help cultural and creative industries explore new architectural concepts and propose innovative ideas in exploration mode. This tool will enable architects, designers, and creators to imagine immersive cultural environments, such as art galleries, interactive museums, performance stages, and art installations, by quickly generating multiple design iterations.
Acrylic Robotics — $10,000 grant. The Chimera project is a technology that allows artists to train artificial intelligence on their own painting style. The AI learns the artist’s textures, brushstrokes, and color palettes, then applies these characteristics to new images. Thanks to a painting robot, the works are materialized with unparalleled precision, while respecting the artist’s vision.
Congratulations to these entrepreneurs who are pushing the boundaries of creativity with AI!
