The entire Prompt team is deeply saddened to announce the death of Sovita Chander, who passed away on Saturday April 22, 2023.
During her 4 years with us, Sovita was a driving force within our organization, bringing invaluable expertise to everything she undertook and making a significant contribution to our success. As Account Manager for University Relations at Prompt, Sovita was responsible for supporting the efforts of Canada’s researchers across Quebec, fostering their partnerships with industry and promoting their role in innovation communities. In this way, she professionally carried out Prompt’s mission. A graduate of McGill University, Sovita had 20 years of expertise and commitment in the technology and telecommunications sector, involved in various initiatives in the fields of health, culture and medical technologies. Her warm smile, kindness, good humour and positivity will leave an indelible mark on all those who had the good fortune to know and work with her.
We are deeply saddened by her loss, and grateful to have had the chance to work with her on a daily basis. We offer our sincere condolences to her family and friends, and assure them that Sovita will always remain in our thoughts and hearts.
