In what context should a specification be drawn up?
“Companies that have benefited from MEIE’s Offensive de Transformation Numériqueand Investissement Québec’s Productivité-Essor programs have often invested in various technologies to improve their business processes, their productivity and, consequently, their competitiveness. However, after such technological support and acquisitions, major challenges may remain.
Interoperability between new technological acquisitions and existing systems can become a complex challenge. Also, capturing and using data to improve production prediction, maintenance and quality control in real time. In such cases, the most appropriate approach is to add customized functionalities to existing equipment or software.”
