What is a financing clinic?
Prompt’s funding clinics are an opportunity for you, academic researchers, members of research offices and CCTTs, to find out how Prompt can fund your collaborative research with Quebec companies.
Each session begins with a 20-minute presentation of the programs and how Prompt can work with you. Then, for 40 minutes, you and your peers will have the opportunity to ask more specific questions and discuss funding strategies for your projects.
Financing clinics: why attend?
The funding clinics are specifically dedicated to you, academic researchers at universities and CCTTs.
While you should already be familiar with the programs offered by NSERC, MITACS and the FRQ, the clinics are designed to give you a better understanding of the programs available at Prompt. With an added benefit for you: you’ll discover how to expand your pool of potential funding. In fact, by including Prompt in your financing strategy, you’ll multiply every dollar invested by your industrial partner by a factor of 3 or even 4.
You’ve attended a fundraising clinic in the past. Is it worth attending again?
This fall’s sessions will give you the opportunity to discover the major changes that have been made to several of our programs. By attending one of our clinics, you’ll be able to find out just how simplified some of the funding procedures have become, how the prerequisites for partnerships have been simplified, and which projects are eligible for fast-track treatment.
