New tools for preclinical respiratory research

Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering: $300,000 grant to develop new tools for preclinical respiratory research!

This three-year grant from the Natural Sciences and Engineering Research Council of Canada will fund his project, which focuses on the design of a digital bio-implant for studying respiratory function in animal models, using a single, cost-effective platform. In collaboration with Prompt Québec and SCIREQ, his team will enhance the technology previously developed by, among other things, adding a function to assess stress using an electrochemical sensor.
