Interview with Bernard Breton, CEO of Adaptiv Networks

Could you describe the steps involved in the financing process with Prompt?

“The financing process with Prompt began in April 2021 and is still ongoing. The support we received accelerated the development of the SASE project. We have secured 15% funding for the project as a whole. This autumn, we are in the final phase of the project: updating the network to support all the new security features.

In addition to the funding, Prompt is offering us the opportunity to take part in visibility events such as CyberEx in October and the International Cybersecurity Forum in November in Montreal. At the FIC, we’ll have the opportunity to demonstrate our financed platform. This showcase is important for Adaptiv Networks, because today, the majority of our customers are international, and we’d like to expand our presence in Quebec. Finally, Prompt has enabled us not only to accelerate the project’s R&D, but also to open up our horizons as to the relevance of investing in the Quebec market.”

What are the benefits for Adaptiv Networks today? What are your future projects?

“Prompt’s financing has played a role on several levels. Firstly, on the commercial side, the first version of our SASE platform will be launched in January 2023 for the market. Then, to continue its development, we have hired half a dozen people in R&D and an additional person to focus our presence on the Quebec market. Our presence is further strengthened by the deployment of a data center in Montreal on October 15. Internationally, Adaptiv Networks continues to expand its network with 4 new data centers in Europe and Asia. “
