On June 11, during its annual general meeting, Prompt brought together its members and partners to review the achievements of the past year and present the strategic directions that will guide its actions in the coming years.
This meeting provided an opportunity to unveil the update to Prompt’s strategic plan as well as the evolution of its value proposition. Guided by its renewed mission—to catalyze Quebec’s strengths and building its technological future—the organization intends to continue serving as a catalyst between the research, industry, and innovation communities to generate tangible benefits for Quebec.
A Year of Collaborations and Successful Results
Over the past year, Prompt has launched 8 calls for proposals, supported 78 companies, and helped fund 15 innovation projects—including a research chair—with a total value of $35.8 million and a contribution from Prompt of $13.5 million.
These projects have supported the development and adoption of strategic technologies such as artificial intelligence, quantum technologies, microelectronics, and optics-photonics in key sectors including manufacturing, cybersecurity, clean technologies, and finance and insurance. Behind each project lie collaborations, technological advances, and tangible benefits that help strengthen Québec’s competitiveness and technological autonomy.
