A look back at Christèle’s appointment this summer as PICQ Program Director.
Formerly manager of the same program at PROMPT, Christèle Pelven has demonstrated her professional, relational and managerial skills in the service of the team. Her rich experience in project management within international IT organizations has enabled her to develop a very good understanding of the financial and administrative stakes of an organization, and from her first two years at PROMPT, she has developed invaluable expertise within the Cybersecurity Program (PICQ).

Congratulations Christèle on your appointment as Program Director. Can you tell us about your ambitions for this new position and what you hope to achieve in your new role?
Thank you very much. I’m very excited about this new role at Prompt. My main ambition is to continue to guarantee the best possible quality customer experience throughout the administrative and financial journey of each of our beneficiaries at PROMPT, with a view to continuous improvement. I want to make sure that each beneficiary feels supported and accompanied in their technological innovation projects in cybersecurity.
You mentioned your previous experience as a program manager. How do you intend to use this experience to succeed in your new role as program manager?
As a program manager, I had the opportunity to gain an in-depth understanding of our beneficiaries’ needs and the challenges they face. This experience has enabled me to develop and build on key skills in project management, optimizing internal processes and establishing effective relationships with partners. As Director, I will use these skills to further improve our internal processes, guarantee the quality of beneficiary files and maintain transparent communication with all stakeholders. It also means ensuring smooth communication with my team, and being responsible for motivating them to give their best in the service of our members’ satisfaction.
You also mentioned your intention to participate more regularly in forums and trade shows as your business allows, to regularly update your cybersecurity expertise and connect even more actively with the ecosystem. How will this benefit your role at PROMPT?
Cybersecurity is a constantly evolving field, and it’s essential to keep abreast of the latest trends, new technologies and best practices. By attending forums and trade shows, I’ll be able to broaden my knowledge and stay at the forefront of this dynamic sector. This will not only enable me to make informed decisions for our programs, but also bring innovative ideas to the team, strengthening our position as a key player in funding technological innovation in cybersecurity.
You mentioned the importance of developing PROMPT’s internal talent. Can you tell us more about how you plan to promote authenticity, collaboration and commitment within your team and the organization?
Absolutely, I firmly believe that an organization’s success depends on the strength and commitment of its team. I already encourage a working environment based on trust, openness and mutual respect. In particular, I value collaboration between departments and teams, which is conducive to the exchange of ideas and creativity, and to collective success.
