On February 28, the Prompt team opened the doors of Les 7 doigts studios to celebrate 20 years of technological excellence, collaboration and innovation. The evening reflected the very essence of PROMPT, showcasing immersive technological experiences that captivated all in attendance.
Among our guests, we were honored to welcome some of the leading figures shaping Quebec’s innovation landscape:
- Minister of the Economy, Innovation and Energy, Pierre Fitzgibbon, whose vision for the future of innovation has been a source of inspiration for the entire industry;
- Luc Sirois, Quebec’s Chief Innovator, whose vibrant, electrifying speech captivated the audience and stimulated the creative minds in attendance;
- Maud Cohen, Director General of Polytechnique Montréal, shared her thoughts on the importance of collaborative research for the innovation sector, underlining PROMPT’s commitment to the advancement of science and technology;
- Layla Nasr, CEO of Makila AI, offered a unique perspective as an entrepreneur and President of the PROMPT Board of Directors, pointing the way to a promising future for Quebec’s technology industry.
A special thank you was extended to Liette Lamonde, General Manager of Prompt, for her inspiring words that guided the evening with elegance.
At the heart of the celebration, three PROMPT Funded Projects were presented, symbolizing commitment to innovation and progress:
- École de technologie supérieure (ÉTS) – Groupe de Recherche en Intégration et Développement Durable en environnement bâti (GRIDD) GRIDD: This groundbreaking project has transformed the construction landscape in Quebec by promoting a sustainable approach and the adoption of cutting-edge technologies such as BIM, process automation and artificial intelligence.
- DeepSight: combining augmented reality, 3D and smart glasses, this project aims to make the industrial workforce more agile and resilient, while enabling more effective training and continuous skills improvement.
- Wallrus: a revolutionary immersive experience with the Quantascope, an innovative mixed reality that paves the way for natural, fluid immersion, connecting virtual worlds with real physical spaces.
