ExplorAI, a company dedicated to the integration of AI and data science technologies in business, has developed an innovation with its partner Accident Solution, a law firm, that facilitates the processing of legal documents assisted by Explorai’s AI. We caught up with Olivier Caron-Lizotte, president and founder of Explorai, to talk about their joint project, his experience with Prompt’s Funding Programs and the impact of their innovation.
Tell us a bit about your solution and the problem you were aiming to solve?
A CNESST / SAAQ / IVAC file can easily contain 1,000 pages. These pages have to be leafed through by an expert (lawyer or technician) in search of the elements relevant to the case. Several hours are invested every day in this research. The aim is to reduce the time lawyers and technicians spend researching and studying disability files. The search in these files must be automatic (without manual intervention) and the extraction of information sufficiently precise to replace this portion of the manual search work. What’s more, the solution is integrated directly into their existing operational tools, so as to minimize change management within client companies.

It enabled the creation of a more generic and widely applicable tool, while providing ExplorAI with the opportunity to take calculated risks in product development.
