History and Area of Expertise
Founded in 2003, Prompt is a trust-based organization mandated by Quebec’s Ministry of Economy, Innovation and Energy (MEIE). It specializes in the field of information technologies (IT) and digital innovation. Prompt is a non-profit organization and one of nine sectoral industrial research groups (RSRIs) in Quebec, tasked with developing and supporting innovation ecosystems and collaborative research in key sectors of the provincial economy.
Information and Communications Technologies (ICT) refer to a wide range of tools and resources used to generate, transmit, process, receive, display, and apply digital data or information.
Today, ICT plays a vital role across numerous industries and sectors—including agriculture, aerospace, finance, forestry, manufacturing, marketing, mining, healthcare, education, and more.
