In order to consolidate progress in quantum information, we need to pool the manufacturing efforts of small companies and research groups, so as not to restrict the use of this strategic technology to a few large multinationals.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The aim of this project is to set up a pilot line for nanofabrication processes for shared superconductor circuits in Quebec. The project is based on close collaboration between quantum superconductor circuit experts at the Institut Quantique (IQ) of the Universit\u00e9 de Sherbrooke (UdS) and microfabrication experts at UdS&#8217;s 3IT, where the transition to shared manufacturing has already taken place. Industrial partner CMC Microsyst\u00e8mes, an expert in pooling processes and tools for Canadian academia and industry, will ensure that the project meets market needs.
