Why not place a set of sensors on one or two light supports that can be carried by a visually impaired person, to help them detect and avoid obstacles and make it easier to navigate the street? <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>This was the origin of our project idea for an all-in-one, turnkey system that could be deployed on a smartphone to detect obstacles encountered by a visually impaired person in real time and alert them in an intelligible way, without saturating them with information.
